In this role, you will assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures, operate specialized equipment, and provide high-quality patient care. Assignments are available in hospitals and specialty cardiac centers, offering competitive pay, flexibility, and career growth opportunities. Responsibilities: Assist physiciansduring diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. Prepare patients forprocedures, including explaining processes, monitoring vitalsigns, and ensuring safety. Operate and maintain Cath Lab equipment, including fluoroscopy and hemodynamicmonitoring systems. Monitor patientsbefore, during, and after procedures, responding promptly to emergencies. Maintain steriletechniques and ensure compliance with safety protocols. Accurately documentprocedures, patient data, and equipment use. Collaborate withcardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff to provide optimal patient care. Participate inquality assurance and performance improvementinitiatives. Requirements Associate’s degree or certificate in cardiovascular technology, radiology, or related field. RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT certification preferred. State license as required. BLS and ACLS certification. 1-2 years ofexperience in a Cath Lab setting preferred. Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and interventionalprocedures.
